How long does it take?

You'll have your song within 7 days, counted from when I've confirmed your order and the payment has gone through. If you need it for a particular day, put the date in the form. If it's more urgent than that, write to me first and I'll see what I can do.

What does it cost?

Your song costs DKK 3,000. That covers the lyrics, my vocals, the recording, one round of changes and delivery of the song. A live performance costs DKK 3,995 on top, and you only pay for it once I've confirmed the date.

Can you sing the song live at our wedding?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if I'm free. I bring my guitar and sing your song acoustically, in the church, at the ceremony or at the party. A live performance costs DKK 3,995, and the price is the same anywhere in Denmark. You put the date, time and place in the form, and I aim to reply within 48 hours. You only pay for the live performance once I've said yes. Your song is written and delivered as agreed, even if I can't make that day.

How is the song made?

Every song from Kun For Jer has the same melody and the same chorus about choosing each other. That's the song's fixed foundation, which is why you can already hear in the example song what the feel of your song will be. I write the verses and the bridge specifically for you, from your unique love story. The example is sung in Danish. If you choose English, I sing the chorus in English to the same melody.

Is the melody original, or is it a well-known song?

The melody is original. I wrote it myself, so your song is a real new song and not new lyrics on a well-known hit. The same melody and chorus run through all my songs, and I write the verses and the bridge for you.

Question 6

Can we give the song as a wedding gift?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The song can easily be ordered as a wedding gift, for example from the best man, the maid of honour, friends or family. Write what you know about the couple in the form, and choose a delivery date before the wedding.

Can we ask for changes?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You get the lyrics before I record, and you have one round of changes. It helps if you gather all your corrections in one message.

Who writes and sings the song?

I do, Emma. I'm a professional singer and songwriter, and I take pride in turning your unique story into an original song that I sing and record myself.

Question 9

Which formats do we get the song in?

Accepted Answer

You get the song as an MP3, which plays anywhere, through a personal download link sent by email. If your DJ or sound technician needs a WAV file, I'm happy to send that too.

How much detail should we write?

Accepted Answer

Rather too much than too little. It's the small things that end up in the verses, like the Friday drinks where it started or a phrase you always say to each other. Inside jokes are welcome too. Write freely and I'll sort through it.

How do we pay?

By card or MobilePay when you order. The payment is handled securely by Stripe. If you've requested a live performance, you don't pay for it until I've confirmed the date. You then get a separate payment link. I aim to reply to requests within 48 hours.
